What students learn

Explain how the unit circle in the coordinate plane extends sine, cosine and tangent to all real numbers, interpreted as radian measures of angles traversed counterclockwise, and read exact coordinates for the special angles.

Worked example
Find the coordinates (cos θ, sin θ) of the point on the unit circle at θ = 150°.
Answer: (-3\sqrt{3}/2, 12)
Why: 150° is in Quadrant 2, reference angle 30°. The point is (cos, sin) = (-3\sqrt{3}/2, 12); cosine is negative and sine is positive in Quadrant 2.

Generated and checked in code, so it is correct.
