Graph f(x) = 2x2^{x} on the coordinate plane. State the y-intercept and horizontal asymptote, and describe the end behavior.
Answer: y-intercept (0, 1); horizontal asymptote y = 0; as x decreases without bound, f(x) approaches 0 (never reaching it), and as x increases without bound, f(x) increases without bound.
Why: Plot points such as (0, 1) and (1, 2). The graph is an exponential curve that flattens toward the dashed asymptote y = 0 on one side and rises steeply on the other, never crossing the asymptote.
