Color by number (math)
Solve each math fact, find the answer's colour in the key, and colour the box. When every box is coloured, a picture appears. Pick a picture, operation, and difficulty, then print.
1-5 = leave white6-10 = red11-15 = green16-20 = yellow21-25 = brown
Solve each box, then colour it using the key. A picture will appear!
Teacher tip: when you Save as PDF, name the file after the drawing (e.g. “Color by number, Heart”) so you can remember which picture it makes, then print that one for your students.
Why kids love it
Color-by-number turns fact practice into a reward, the picture is the prize for getting the maths right. It is great for fluency practice and for keeping a class busy and happy. Use the “Show answer” switch to print a coloured key for quick marking.
