Three-Figure Bearings
Bearings are always given as three figures (e.g. 007°, not 7°), measured clockwise from north. Write angles as bearings, and find back bearings (the bearing of the return direction).
- 1.Write an angle of 207°, measured clockwise from north, as a three-figure bearing.
- 2.Write an angle of 62°, measured clockwise from north, as a three-figure bearing.
- 3.Write an angle of 123°, measured clockwise from north, as a three-figure bearing.
- 4.Write an angle of 303°, measured clockwise from north, as a three-figure bearing.
- 5.Write an angle of 120°, measured clockwise from north, as a three-figure bearing.
- 6.The bearing of point B from point A is 086°. Find the bearing of point A from point B (the back bearing).
- 7.The bearing of point B from point A is 162°. Find the bearing of point A from point B (the back bearing).
- 8.The bearing of point B from point A is 166°. Find the bearing of point A from point B (the back bearing).
- 9.The bearing of point B from point A is 315°. Find the bearing of point A from point B (the back bearing).
- 10.The bearing of point B from point A is 344°. Find the bearing of point A from point B (the back bearing).
- 11.The bearing of point B from point A is 352°. Find the bearing of point A from point B (the back bearing).
- 12.The bearing of point B from point A is 128°. Find the bearing of point A from point B (the back bearing).
- 13.The bearing of point B from point A is 131°. Find the bearing of point A from point B (the back bearing).
