A green dragon was hiding in the school library. At least, that was what Arlo told everyone. He had seen a pointed head slip behind the atlas shelf and a long tail vanish under the reading chair. At lunch, Arlo and Mina crept between the bookcases with a cardboard box and an apple for bait. Something rustled. Mina lifted the chair slowly. Out darted a tiny green lizard. It raced up the curtain and stopped beside an open window. The children lowered their box and laughed. Their dragon was only as long as a pencil. They told the librarian, who guided it safely into the garden.
