Simplify expressions by collecting like terms, factorising out common factors and expanding a single term over a bracket; form and solve linear equations with rational coefficients and simple inequalities, knowing multiplying or dividing by a negative reverses an inequality; substitute values into formulae; and rearrange formulae, such as solving the rectangle perimeter formula for width.
